Most Health First providers only accept Health First Health Plan's Medicare Advantage program. However, we will accept other non-participating Medicare Advantage insurance plans under the following circumstances: 

  • For all emergency-related services.
  • For all elective services provided the patient has appropriate out of network benefit coverage and is willing to pay the out of pocket amount.
  • For all elective services that the non-participating Medicare Advantage insurance plan will authorize, once out of network benefits have been verified.
